Chinese nannies are one of International China Concern (ICC’s) greatest resource 国际關心中国慈善協會 and a vital link
to support the care of all children within their projects. They
become the hand that holds the spoon, providing much needed
nutrition to bodies that need to be nourished, arms that hold them and hearts to communicate that they are valued and loved.
They become the voice that speaks words of encouragement as
they learn to talk and to walk and provide loving discipline as
they learn the values of life. ICC believes in small family style
groups that allow a child to integrate into a family of brothers and sisters, surrounded by the constant care of nannies that become
Mothers, Fathers, Aunts or Uncles. For many it will be the only
sense of “family” that they experience in life – with their nannies
being at the very centre of everything they do.

Every year since 2007, ICC conducts Walk the Wall to raise funds
for the disabled kids. This year, they have this added appeal to
cater for the increased Nannies needs, as shown below: -
